Carpe Diem Learning Design Workshops
The Carpe Diem Experience takes collaborative co-design groups through an intense, fast & agile journey. Carpe Diem workshops offer the development of practical ways of imagining & planning courses based on well researched, proven pedagogical frameworks. There are two types of Carpe Diem. 1. ‘programme design’: for whole qualifications through future visioning, threshold concepts & authentic assessment. Typically 5 hours. 2. 'module design' : includes detailed story boarding and prototyping of online activities (e-tivities.) Typically 8 hours. All workshops complete with detailed action plans & visual reminders. Both are suitable for the refresh & redesign of courses from campus to blend or online, as well as future-proofing new developments. They ensure the constructive deployment of learning technology. All fully support academic & team development, contextualised to the institution and the discipline. All are currently offered online, face to face when possible, or any combination. Clients often run a programme Carpe Diem, followed by ‘mass’ module Carpe Diems. They work well to promote cross & multi -disciplinary working. See more at www.gillysalmon.com/carpe-diem |
Peer Enhanced E-Placements (PEEP)
A PEEP helps you create an online placement ecosystem with digital and pedagogical quality. The professional practice placement learning outcomes, processes and paperwork are used in a PEEP – mirroring a usual placement. The PEEP offers an online legitimate alternative to traditional models of placement delivery and has evaluated very positively. The PEEP design facilitates learning through well-researched evidence-based frameworks, to achieve active online learning. The PEEP acquisition package, based on a 'flipped workshop' has been developed to offer the PEEP framework to others to adopt, adapt, customise – quickly and easily - to equip participants to implement a PEEP locally. Take the opportunity to register your interest to participate in a PEEP acquisition package by contacting us at the link below. |
