Hi everyone planning to attend/attended the great Session at 12 noon to 13.30 in Potsdam 1 on Friday 25th Nov. Called ' We Dontneed no classroom: towards new roles for universities and teachers. There's a great panel. of speakers. Check it out! I'll be mentioning the new research on E-moderating skills and competencies- but here's the matrix - too small stuff for Slide presentations ! ;)
Prof Salmon- with colleagues - is offering a 'Learn Cafe' at the end of the conference 4- 5.30 pm (in the Tiergarten rooms). It's serious fun, no sitting, has a follow-up outcome/impact image which will be published on this page. It's a great chance to talk to yet more new people and truly consolidate some of your thoughts from the 2 or 3 days of the conference. No booking, just turn up. Be there by 4 pm, please.
More about the storyboarding workshop 10.30 am on Wednesday 23rd at the conference. If you are attending this workshop, you might like to prepare – there will be 7 scenarios on offer to work on with new colleagues to practice storyboarding skills for learning – perhaps you’d like to choose in advance? If it’s something you know about great! If you don’t try a bit of googling. Each scenario has a different mode of learning…😉.
Here are the scenario choices (for practice!) for the November 23rd workshop: Save the Planet, Artificial Intelligence, Business & Entrepreneurship, Space Elevator, Remote Teaching, Global Warming, Painting. What would be a threshold concept?
This is also a popular workshop for universities, colleges, and L & D departments, using your own courses- contact us if you’d like to know more. We run it digitally/remotely and on location.
